The Kentucky State Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed that the remains found near a lake house belonging to 39-year-old Glenn Jackson are those of his missing wife 48-year-old Ella Diebolt Jackson.

The medical examiner used Ella Diebolt Jackson’s dental records in order to positively identify her.

On October 22, 2019, Glenn Jackson reported Ella Diebolt Jackson missing. Glenn Jackson, who was an Honors English Instructor at Eastern Kentucky University, told the police that his wife just up and left her five-year-old son and disabled dog behind with him.

The police didn’t by his story. That whole bit about a mother just jumping up and leaving her five-year-old child and her disabled fur baby behind didn’t make any sense.

Sure, if it were just the woman and a man, the police could see the woman getting up and haul tailing away from the man. But leaving her young child and sickly fur baby behind, nuh-uh. That ain’t happ’in’ cap’in. No sir. Unh-unh.

Here’s what Richmond Police Department Assistant Chief Rodny Richardson told WKYT, “…although adults can just up and leave when they want, they generally don’t. So we would like to know the reason why, if she did and make sure she’s safe and OK. Until we figure out exactly what happened to her, we will continue to search for her.”

The police used recordings that Ella Diebolt Jackson made between her and Glenn Jackson, along with evidence from her son, Phillp Hans, and her ex-husband and son’s father, University of Kentucky Professor Jason Hans, to quickly “figure out” that Glenn Jackson was “exactly what happened to her.”

Ella Diebolt Jackson let folks know that Glenn Jackson would be the only reason why she’d turned up missing. “Mrs. Jackson told several individuals that she was afraid of Mr. Jackson, and if anything ever happened to her, her husband would be responsible,” is what the folks over at the Herald Leader said.

During their investigation into Ella Diebolt Jackson’s disappearance, the police found not only recordings that Mrs. Jackson had made of Mr. Jackson yelling at her like she was his child but they found blood in the trunk of Glenn Jackson’s automobile.

Unable to say what, when, how, and why a pool of blood was in the trunk of his automobile, Glenn Jackson ended up in handcuffs and charged with murder, beating his wife, and messing over evidence.

And now that the Kentucky Medical Examiner has positively identified Ella Diebolt Jackson’s remains, the chances are zero of Glenn Jackson breathing God’s good fresh air on the outside again.
